Almost 300 new transport jobs are being created in Swansea by two companies.

The Virgin Atlantic airline is creating more than 200 jobs over the next two years with the opening of a customer service centre.

The company says it plans to open the new centre at Alexandra House in Swansea by September and will start recruiting later this month.

Meanwhile, about 85 jobs are being created by Swansea Drydocks repairing, maintaining and breaking up ships. Read more »
