As the Inside Account Manager, you will be based out of prestigious offices in the City of London. You will take responsibility for managing and developing a defined portfolio of small to medium clients spending between £50k and £300k per annum. The main aim of the role is to manage the relationship with each client, to ensure that the retention of that client during the contract period and then to negotiate a new contract term at the end of each agreement period.
This role is accountable for the commercial performance of each client, ensuring a profitable income return for the services provided.
You will work closely with all internal departments and the senior management team ensuring that each client is managed in line with the SME client categorisation.
You will be required to develop applicable client relationships in order to improve the commercial return and to discover other opportunities to grow the relationship by securing additional sales growth and additional income from the sales of group products and services.
The successful candidate will need to take a commercial and proactive approach with applicable clients in order to retain, grow and improve the financial return for the group. It is important for the Account Manager to take a hands-on, practical approach to development and problem solving in order to meet both client and group expectations.
