Account Manager - Business Travel - Kent - ££Competitve

This is an excellent opportunity for an Account Manager currently working in the Business Travel sector to work for a leading Independent Travel Management Company in a fast paced industry. They are seeking a driven Account Manager to manage key corporate accounts. The role will be to proactively develop existing relationships and opportunities within both their existing and new business client portfolio. This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate looking for a new challenge within a leading agency.


Account Manager - Business Travel - Responsibilities:

  • Develop profitable new business from the existing client base by effective territory management
  • Meet clients KPI's
  • Represent the company at meetings
  • Build strong working relationships with new and existing clients
  • Cross sell their MICE and Leisure products
  • Support marketing and promotion opportunities
  • Support the sales team with managements and production of RFP's
  • Develop journey planning/schedules to ensure clients are managed effectively
  • Prepare reports and provide feedback to Senior Company Management
  • Provide analysis of Business Travel trends, and competitor analysis
  • Analyse prospect client's management information to determine prospects profitability potential
  • Identify and attend client specific exhibitions and other promotional and networking events


Account Manager - Business Travel - Skills

  • Minimum 5 years TMC Account Management representation
  • Experience of delivering and be accountable for sales presentations and implementation
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with personable and professional presence and ability to influence at all levels
  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Strong face to face negotiation skills
  • Ability to achieve targets and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated
  • Ambitious individual who has a passion for the success and travel
  • Good organisational and planning skills and the ability to multi-task
  • The ability to work under pressure, unsupervised and to strict deadlines
