My client is a very successful tour operator who are based in the Swindon area, due to the rapid growth of the company I am currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Team Leader, the successful candidate will be responsible for the accounts payable process, ensuring that it is fit for purpose and meets the needs of the business and supports future development. It will also be responsible for leading a team of 3 clerks, creating a positive team environment and facilitating the coaching and development of team members.
* Lead and develop a team of 3 clerks * Review and manage all supplier payments * Define and lead new AP processes to streamline invoice input * Create a PO control process for overhead spend and get into a system with all staff trained on the processes
EXPERIENCE: * QBE/AAT or studier ACCA/CIMA * Previous team management experience * Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills * Ability to build and maintain excellent relationships * Must be self -motivated and proactive * Experience of running/managing end to end Accounts Payable process * Ability to work to deadlines * Must have high attention to detail and the ability to work accurately * Excellent analytical and numerical abilities * Excellent MS Excel skills * Organised with the ability to work under pressure * The ability to work as part of a team * Experience of developing and implementing processes * Able to work extended hours on occasions when required
* Experience with Sun Systems including Vision Q&A * Travel industry experience * Experience of working in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
