Our client is an established Business Travel Management Agency located close to Newport. They are currently looking for an Administration Assistant who has either worked in the travel industry previously or has an interest in travel and is keen to embark on a career within the Business Travel Sector.

The responsibilities of the Administration Assistant - Travel Sector are as follows:

  • Answering the telephone to clients
  • Support the business travel consultants with producing travel itineraries
  • Reconciling hotel bill back payments
  • Loading details of hotel commissions on to the system and chasing outstanding payments
  • Supporting the Office Manager with ad hoc duties
  • Using a GDS system to check client bookings

The skills required for the Administration Assistant role is as follows;

  • Ideally 1 years experience working within the travel industry
  • Good enthusiasm with good communication skills
  • Able to multi task and work quickly
  • Keen to learn and progress
