An Adventure Travel Tailormade Sales Consultant is required by one of the UK’s favourite travel tour operators. As Adventure Travel Tailormade Sales Consultant you will be working for a business that has had ethical, sustainable, and responsible travel at its core for over 30 years.  They offer their customers a fantastic range of experiences and adventures across 500 tours in 120 countries helping to ensure that they keep on coming back!

As Adventure Travel Tailormade Sales Consultant you will:

  • Answer inbound calls using questioning and listening skills that support effective telephone communication.
  • Maximise every sales opportunity, whilst maintaining the highest levels of customer service.
  • Process and administer existing bookings to ensure conversion rates are maximised.
  • Use own travel experience to assist with customer queries and engage with customers to meet their individual travel needs.
  • To maximise sales opportunities and consistently achieve sales and service targets set.
  • To pro-actively promote additional services in order to maximise the generation of additional revenues
  • To book flights at the point of sale using the designated company system
  • Record and log the source for each customer enquiry, booking or contact accurately
  • Use sound judgement to manage difficult customer situations, to respond promptly to the needs of the customer & solicit feedback to improve service
  • To execute all assigned tasks and booking administration efficiently, ensuring business team targets and KPI’s are met and exceeded
  • Update the existing databases with known changes and the status of each customer / enquirer
  • Support and provide superior service to other online sales channels, such as web, affiliates, email & Livezilla as and when required

The successful Adventure Travel Tailormade Consultant will be outgoing, friendly with strong communication skills who has a passion for the Adventure Travel market.  You will be able to multi-task with effective planning and be able to prioritise your workload.  As Adventure Travel Tailormade Consultant you will have good people skills, and be able to demonstrate experience of supplier and customer relations as well as the ability to work to targets.  This is an extremely exciting opportunity to work with one of the UK’s favourite tour operators, and work in an environment that offers career progression and is as passionate about the world we live in as you are.
