Our client is an award winning and dynamic tour operator now seeking an experienced and passionate Travel Sales Consultants (full & part time) to join its vibrant and busy team. This well-known tour operator offers various tours throughout the world for travelers and values its customers. They reward their travel consultants, offer sociable working hours, Monday to Friday along with exciting travel perks.

 

This Travel Sales Consultant opportunity entails a wide range of tasks in which no day will be the same, this includes  

  • Selling, creating, designing and offering European and Worldwide tours to travelers either over the telephone, by email or sometimes face-to- face.
  • Ensure that every effort is made to convert incoming holiday enquiries into options, and options into confirmed bookings.
  • Use product knowledge to confidently cross-sell to other products if the required holiday is unavailable or unsuitable.
  • Offering a cutting edge customer service
  • Account managing clients from start to finish, including add travel extras and travel amendments
  • Attend travel exhibitions & road shows - Provide an excellent first impression of the company and build interest.

 

To be the cut above the rest:

  • Experience in arranging tailormade travel within a UK based tour operator or travel agency
  • Experience of CRS / GDS Flight systems such as Amadeus, Galileo or Worldspan is essential
  • Have excellent telephone manner and written communication skills
  • A commitment to excellent customer service and support
  • Have a high degree of accuracy and excellent eye for detail
