My client, a long established privately owned award winning tour operator is seeking an experienced Air Product Executive .
This is an excellent opportunity to forge a long term career with a company who are busier than ever offering an excellent supportive environment.
Previous customer service experience is essential and applicants can come from a Tour Operations, airline or business travel background.
Candidates must be able to a work shift system, 5 days out 7.
Their is also an opportunity to earn on average another £800 per month in commission by offering flight upgrades to clients.
Air Product Executive responsibilities and duties:
To carry out all ticketing on a day to day basis and within travel and fare deadlines.
Daily and Monthly BSP (including ADMs, ACMs and refunds
To monitor and report upon published fares to ensure maximum profitability.
Maintain close liaison with Reservations colleagues on issues relating to bookings.
Manage an information system, database and back office.
Ensure all issues relating to ticketing comply with best practice and legal requirements.
Participate in other activities undertaken by the department and liaise with all other departments as needed.
Effectively contribute towards strategy developments.
Monitor and communicate Airline schedule changes and flight cancellations.
Air Product Executive Experience REQUIRED:
Previous customer services experience within the travel industry
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines, prioritise and co-ordinate tasks.
Numerate with ability to interpret data.
Ability to persuade and negotiate.
Air Product Executive Remuneration:
Base Salary £23,000 + up to £8K in Commission
20 days holidays rising by 1 for every year of service to a max of 25
8 Bank Holidays
