·         Responsible for issuing all airline tickets and ticket reissues. Issue CAT35/25 fares, deal with re-issues, refunds, manage fares & airline contracts, BSP reconciliation and distribution of CAT35/25 fares to specialist sales consultants. 

·         Processing automated ticket refunds (e.g. cancellations) through BSP or Amadeus & Galileo.

·         Issuing automated EMDs (Electronic Miscellaneous Documents) to pay for deposits, seat reservations, excess baggage and similar as required.

  • Assist, Sales and Operations staff on GDS and answer GDS queries and advice Galileo entries on a daily basis as required.
  • Advise fares (net and published) to sales departments on a daily basis and schedule queries.
  • Responsible for communicating to staff on ETA and API queries and enter these into the GDS.
  • Responsible for dealing with airlines regarding errors with dates/names etc.
  • Ensuring all IATA updates is adhered to.
  • Responsible for ensuring documentation is accurate and punctual.
  • Refunding EMDs on issue bookings (e.g. group deposits back once tickets have been issued).
  • Filing airline net rate contracts and ensuring ticketing information is correct and up to date.
  • Ensure ticketing notes and airline rates are updated regularly, particularly with respect to fuel surcharge increases.
  • General administration, including running reports and maintaining accurate information in the In-house systems as requested.
