Octavia View is in a Grade 2* listed Georgian town house on the South Brink in Wisbech, which contains an art gallery, caf, kitchen, hostel and function rooms available to hire. As a community hub, Octavia View supports individuals build their confidence in the workplace through work experience, education and volunteering.



We are looking to recruit n enthusiastic and committed individual to join our hospitality and catering team within Octavia's caf, under an exciting new apprenticeship scheme.



The successful candidate will assist with the successfully delivery of high quality customer focused cafe and catering services, to customers of Octavia's Cafe. You will contribute towards the planning, preparation, cooking, service and provision of food or meals for Octavia's caf, corporate events, hostel food, functions and other business customers.



You will be supported by an experienced Cook Team Leader and Servery Coordinator, who will guide you through a program of learning and development, which includes an accredited Level 2 Apprenticeship scheme in Hospitality and Catering (Hospitality Services Pathway). A Liaison Officer from the College will work in collaboration with The Ferry Project to advance your knowledge and mentor you through your qualification.



Through this valuable scheme you will reinforce your qualification by gaining firsthand experience, assisting you to develop the skills and confidence required to continue successfully in your career within the hospitality and catering sector.



You must have great attitude, clear focus, perseverance and lead by example to support the Group's Mission, Values and Goals and the policy of demonstrating a more excellent way of doing business.
