Job Description
*Allocation of day-to-day and periodic tasks to workforce in order to meet cleaning specification
*Aid delivery of site KPI performance
*Monitoring of material usage and stock control
*Be proactive in the working environment by identifying any areas where additional revenue opportunities may arise
*Responsible for compiling action plans and ensuring that the action plans are carried out on a weekly basis
*Assist in delivery of cleaning specification through own cleaning responsibilities in particular during annual leave and sickness of cleaning operatives
*Monitor site log book, attendance times and schedules
*Report accident on duties and sickness absences
*Assist in recruitment of cleaning operatives
*Interface with end users to resolve operational problems
*Responsible for the performance management of cleaning operatives
*Completion of site audits as per audit schedule
*Completion of HR paperwork including overtime forms and performance management

Requirements
*Previous experience and knowledge of cleaning industry
*Ability to use standard cleaning equipment
*Effective communication skills with both operatives and end user
*Ability to work on own initiative
*Ability to instruct cleaning operatives to carry out relevant cleaning tasks
*Ability to prioritise and organise work to be undertaken
*Must be flexible as travel to other sites may be needed if any cover is needed
*Must be flexible as work across a 24 hour shift pattern may include weekends
*Ability to use specialist cleaning equipment & machinery, including buffing machines & scrubber driers in a safe manner in compliance with company training
*Be physically able to carry out duties which will include lifting and carrying items
*Be compliant with all Company and Statutory Health, Safety and Environmental legislation policies and ensure they are observed and adhered to
*Be able to train cleaning operatives to BICSc standards, including colour coding

Main Duties and Responsibilities
*Oversee a group of cleaning operatives.
*Ensuring all work is carried out to the customer's specification.
*Monitoring timekeeping and absence.
*Supporting the Soft Services Manager in the achievement of efficient day-today operations while responding to queries and requests from the end user.

*Previous experience and knowledge of cleaning industry
*Ability to be able to use standard cleaning equipment
*Effective communication skills to liaise with end user and operatives
*Ability to work on own initiative
*Ability to instruct cleaning operatives to carry out relevant cleaning tasks
*Ability to prioritise and organise work to be undertaken

Salary: 23,000 plus the use of a company car
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 40 hours a week, would need to be flexible due to the nature of the work.
