An Assistant F&B Outlet Manager with Hilton Hotels and Resorts is responsible for managing the outlet on a day to day basis to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while managing guest queries and striving to meet department targets.

What will I be doing?

As an Assistant F&B Outlets Manager you are responsible for managing the day to day aspects of Food and Beverage operations to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. You will also be required to manage guest queries and strive to achieve departmental targets. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards and should already be capable of doing so:

  • Able to work in all areas of Food and Beverage including Bar, Restaurant, Room Service and Conference and Events
  • Welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner
  • Take and deliver customer orders, consistently demonstrating high levels of customer service
  • Prepare set ups for tables and/or rooms
  • Follow cash handling procedures
  • Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Up-sell with latest departmental incentives
  • Ensure compliance of brand standards
  • Strive to achieve departmental targets
  • Ensure cleanliness of work areas
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
  • Comply with local licensing laws
  • Be environmentally aware
  • Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
  • Supervise Food and Beverage Outlet operations
  • Communicate and delegate tasks to the team
  • Ensure compliance of brand standards
  • Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Represent needs of the team
  • Assist Food and Beverage management with achieving financial targets
  • Assist Food and Beverage management with training and development of team members
  • Assist with annual and mid-year appraisals with team members under your responsibility
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
  • Be environmentally aware
  • Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
