Brand Marketing Co-ordinator - Specialist Dive Tour Operator - Hampshire

This specialist Tour Operator is looking for a Brand Marketing Co-ordinator who will be responsible for all aspects of marketing activity for their Diving holiday brands, ensuring a constant flow of effective cross-media marketing campaigns. The role involves working closely with the Brand Manager, the Product and digital marketing teams. Ideally you will be a diver yourself.

Brand Marketing Co-ordinator - Key Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for the implementation and development of the agreed marketing strategy of both Dive brands.
  • Identify sustainability issues for the brands and embed the company strategy across the marketing activity.
  • Develop partnerships with conservation charities/ partners in-line with the company strategy.
  • Write and co-ordinate engaging content for email newsletters, adverts, blogs, website content, flyers and brochures and all other marketing collateral.
  • Source imagery for all marketing activity and manage the brands image library.
  • Create and manage the eNews schedule ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Prepare marketing campaign activity reports and proposals for joint ventures.
  • Manage the creation of blogs for the websites.
  • Create a social media strategy for the brands and implement plan with engaging copy and imagery.
  • Create, update and amend artwork for adverts, flyers and other marketing material in line with brand guidelines.
  • Manage the advertisement schedule to meet deadlines.
  • Co-ordinate all direct marketing campaigns including brochure production.
  • Support the Events Co-ordinator with the organisation of events and trade shows/exhibitions for the brand.
  • Attend events and trade shows/exhibitions on behalf of the marketing department.
  • Liaise with their external PR agency to provide content and imagery for press releases and maximize all editorial opportunities. Write press releases where required.
  • Laise with the product team to arrange and co-ordinate press trips.
  • Manage all data for the brands and create mailing lists.
  • Maintain all external digital presence of the brand.
  • Assume a range of responsibilities for the production and coordination of all marketing activities including day to day administration tasks eg. brochure fulfilment, database entry and filing press releases.
  • Support a constant flow of effective cross-media marketing campaigns.
  • Identify new marketing opportunities seeking out new customers and driving brochure requests and holiday enquiries.
  • Support the Marketing team in marketing activities as required.
  • Representing the company to the highest standard.

Brand Marketing Co-ordinator - Qualifications and Exeprience

  • It is essential that you have proven success in a similar marketing role plus a good level of knowledge of diving, marine life and the travel industry.
  • You need to be educated to a high standard and be computer literate with a broad range of skills that include Microsoft Office, Photoshop and In-design.
  • You need to be able to manage your workloads efficiently and effectively and meet all deadlines.
  • You will have thorough first-hand knowledge of many of their destinations, experience of producing engaging copy for various audiences, SEO experience, the ability to plan, liaise and manage multiple projects, experience in managing external agencies and partners and strong commercial awareness.
  • You will have exceptional English and grammar skills with a keen eye for detail and be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. We expect you to be self-motivated, confident and knowledgeable, trustworthy and reliable, articulate and enthusiastic, organised and efficient, self-motivated and independent, but above all, flexible and a team player.

Brand Marketing Co-ordinator - Key experience

  • Proven success in a marketing role.
  • Educated to at least A-level standard and degree in marketing.
  • Previous experience in managing multiple marketing campaigns.
  • Experience in creating and designing artwork for a mix of collateral.
  • Experience in managing successful social media campaigns.
  • Experience in managing external agencies.
  • Experience in sourcing and editing imagery.
  • Ideally an experienced diver.
  • High level of knowledge of the dive travel industry and marine life.
  • Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Exceptional spelling and grammar skills.
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Photoshop and In-design.
