Business Development Executive
Leading luxury Travel Specialist is looking for someone to join there hard-working, dedicated, knowledgeable and passionate team. The successful candidate will have travel and high-end service with previous relevant experience and a good track record in direct client contact.
*You will be responsible for developing and maintaining new and existing relationships with closed user groups such as gyms , tennis clubs, cricket clubs , leisure centres , local businesses and obtaining a certain level of revenue in accordance with pre-determined team and personal targets.
*You will manage the closed user group's relationships and develop these and bring on board new ones.
*You will, promote the business within the local community, in various ways, including but not limited to , events, lunches, dinners , social media , promotions , online notice boards etc.
*Identify and maximise on all possible joint marketing to targeted selected groups. Including but not limited to : Family , LGBT , Active groups , WI
*Organizing events, arranging exclusive user group discounts from our suppliers, arranging joint marketing with our closed user groups and suppliers. Some weekend and evening work will be required.
*You will learn and familiarise yourself with the product portfolio and with relevant destinations, so that you can best sell to the client, maximising client satisfaction, repeat business and optimising revenue.
*You will account manage / build relationships with clients, and deliver exceptional client care at all times, ensuring everything is tailored to suit the individual client and that the process is as seamless and efficient as possible.
*To be pro-active in contacting previous clients and encouraging repeat business, which may be inbound enquiries or proactive outbound lead generation
*You will be required to attend face to face meetings with suppliers and attend relevant related events (which may be outside of standard office hours)
*To attend FAM trips
*Previous experience in a similar role is preferred with a focus on sales performance and product knowledge within the travel or service industry , or similar
*You should have a good knowledge of the travel market and with direct client contact offering a high end service, as well as an understanding of clients and their requirements.
*You must be personable and have the ability to build strong working relationships and have a friendly, approachable and professional manner with both clients, team members and suppliers at all levels.
*You must have impeccable communication skills with a willingness to go that extra mile. A self-motivated and creative / proactive problem solver.
*You need to have exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
*You must work well in a small team environment with a hard-working, proactive and flexible approach as well as the ability to work well under pressure.
*Ideally IT confident and competent with a good understanding of social media and copywriting skills.
*A basic of salary of £15,000 - £20,000 dependant on experience, plus company benefits.
