Exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive to work within a Business Development team, handling quotations and itinerary building for groups travelling to the UK and rest of Europe.
*You will be both client-facing and supplier-facing.
*Working with our clients and providing competitive and accurate quotations and itinerary suggestions on time and in line with the client's deadline, upholding our reputation as a trusted company offering a high level of customer service.
*Researching special interest and technical visits for specific client interests and constantly adding to knowledge of European destinations.
*Building close relationships with suppliers including hotels, coaches, restaurants, guides and entertainment venues in the UK and across Europe and negotiating and obtaining best rates from them whenever necessary as part of providing quotations
*Building close working relationships with clients and helping them grow their group business with us by converting more quotes into confirmations and providing them with unique and winning ideas and inclusions.
*Attending site inspections and preparing for and attending Fam trips as and when required
*Attending Trade shows and Exhibitions to represent the Company as and when required
*Once confirmed, you will hand over the file to the operations team in an organised and accurate manner, based on the company's established procedures
*Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
*Ability to multi-task
*Ability to travel when required
*Proven organisational skills
*A European language is an advantage, not a necessity.
*Sense of humor
*Salary range from £23,000-£27,000 depending on experience.
*Luncheon vouchers to the value of £250 per year after 6 months
*Contribution towards private health care after 6 months
