Business Development Executive - Hospitality - Exeter - Salary Up To £23k


We have an excellent opportunity for a Business Development Executive (Hospitality Sales) to join our client who a major events organiser with a great brand and proud heritage. The successful candidate will be proactive in driving the hospitality business and converting sales enquiries into confirmed business.

The responsibilities of the Business Development Executive (Hospitality) are:

  • To proactively sell hospitality, restaurant and sponsorship packages
  • To achieve and exceed sales targets
  • To account manage relationships with key accounts and agents
  • To provide accurate weekly sales and activity reports to the GM/Regional Head of Sales
  • To compile mail shots and other literature throughout the year to attract new clients
  • To represent the company at exhibitions, open days and other client liaison activities

The skills required for the Business Development Executive (Hospitality) are:

  • Be proactive, sales and target driven
  • Possess excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrate a proven record of sales negotiation and persuasive selling skills
  • Have experience in new business development and account management
  • Be self-motivated
  • Able to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Possess a full UK driving licence and have access to a car
  • Flexible and able to work weekends and evenings to support business requirements as and when required.
