Business Development Executive - London - Salary Up To £29,900 - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

 

We gave a great opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join a fantastic company at a very exciting time. Working within a really friendly business development team you would be responsible for supporting our clients Business Development Team, working alongside their Business Development Managers (BDM's) who are responsible for identifying and on-boarding new member partners. This is a mission critical role assisting BDM's to help them plan for business meetings and providing information and assistance to member partners on a variety of travel industry topics.


The responsibilities of the Business Development Executive would include:

  • Sharing relevant information and providing support to the Business Development Managers
  • Highlight key products and services which are relevant to the member partners business and gain member partner buy-in
  • Ensure all enquiries are logged into the CRM system
  • Prepare the necessary paperwork in order that a new applicant can make an application
  • Ensure applicants are aware of the documentation they will need to provide
  • Run checks on the applicant to help determine their suitability for membership
  • Liaise with new applicants to talk them through their implementation plan once their application has been approved
  • Manage their implementation by liaising with the regulatory bodies, arranging systems training and liaising with internal teams
  • Keep the member up to date on the progress of their implementation
  • Be familiar with the systems members use so that you can provide help, guidance and support

The skills required for the Business Development Executive include:

  • Able to successfully deliver against business targets
  • Possess strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Be comfortable liaising with members and helping to address their needs
  • Good knowledge of the travel retail environment, along with industry regulations (ABTA & ATOL)
  • Being able to work under pressure and to important deadlines
  • Able to manage a variety of tasks simultaneously, prioritising the most important
  • Be committed to delivering outstanding customer service
  • Be an excellent team player
  • Have good commercial acumen
  • The ability to work independently with a level of autonomy
  • Be an excellent problem solver and decision maker
