Are you an experienced Business Development Manager with an in-depth working knowledge of the Corporate Travel sector and a proven sales track record? Do you enjoy the challenge of a new business development role and are driven to meet and exceed sales targets? Our client is an award winning Travel Management Company and are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join their sales team on a permanent, full-time basis. Covering the UK, this exciting opportunity will involve identifying new sales opportunities, building a strong sales pipeline and developing and maintaining relationships with both new and existing clients. The successful candidate will have a proven new business development/sales track record, gained within the corporate travel sector and will be self-motivated with a tenacious and highly pro-active approach. Role of Business Development Manager:

  • Generating and developing new leads and arranging appointments
  • Maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing clients
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the corporate travel sector 
  • Creating and delivering proposals, presentations and other marketing tools
  • Representing our client at a variety of industry events
  • Working to and exceeding company set sales targets

Skills required for the role:

  • New business development experience gained within the corporate travel sector
  • Proven travel sales track record
  • Ability to work to targets
  • Ability to proactively generate leads
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Excellent relationship building and communication skills
  • A willingness to travel regularly throughout the UK
