Business Development Manager, up to £32k plus comm, City of London

My client is a forward thinking Business Travel Management Agency located in the City of London that has long standing relationships with corporates such as Fund Managements, Investment and Insurance companies. They are looking to expand their company and therefore have a new position for a Business Development Manager to generate new sales to increase yearly profit.

The responsibilities of the Business Development Manager are as follows:-

  • To set a sales strategy across different vertical markets
  • To build upon an existing database whilst developing new clients
  • Prepare marketing material to enhance visibility and branding and increase ROI
  • Full sales process including tender completion, sales presentations and strategic targeting.
  • Follow up on leads and attend networking events and trade shows

The skills required by the Business Development Manager are:

  • Proven experience of working within a B2B Market ideally within the Travel Industry or an affiliation to the Travel Industry.
  • Dynamic approach to lead generation and presenting to clients
  • Proven ability to exceed targets
  • Able to complete tenders and RFP's
  • Able to demonstrate sales success in dealing with SME and large corporates
  • Strong experience in setting strategy and implementing sales structure
  • Excellent at presenting to clients and dealing with senior executives.
