Business Development Manager - Business Travel, London, Upto £32k basic OTE £50k

Our client is an independent TMC based in Central London that has a strong portfolio of clients on a global scale. They are looking for a strong Sales focused, relationship building individual with a minimum of 1 years Business Development experience to prospect for new corporate clients.

The requirements of the Business Development Manager are as follows:

  • Lead generate and cold call corporate clients from SME's to large Corporates
  • Create and conduct proposal presentations and RFP responses.
  • Establish, maintain and expand customer base through the CRM system
  • Increase business opportunities through various routes to market
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers
  • Respond to incoming email and phone enquiries
  • Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales
  • Represent the organisation at trade exhibitions, meetings, industry and networking events
  • Exceed sales targets

The Skills required for the Business Development Managers role are as follows:

  • Previous experience developing new business in a B2B environment
  • Self motivated and self starter
  • Conscientious to perform well
  • Is able to see the sales opportunity and continue through to close
  • Confident in conducting presentations face to face
  • Believes in making calls to generate business
  • Travel industry experience preferable
