An opportunity for a hotel Business Development Manager to work for a high end luxury 5* hotel which is so stunning it sells itself!
In this role, you will become part of the team and working closely with the Sales and Marketing Director. An ideal candidate needs to be an enthusiastic and motivated individual with excellent phone manners. Priority will be given to candidates with: Previous experience within a hotel business development role and those comfortable dealing with numbers and/or contracts. Some previous experience in hotels is required.
THE ROLE * The professional will come in contact with our trade clients: tour operators, online wholesalers, group organisers etc. that are located mainly in Europe and the UK. It will be also necessary to carry out contracting and analysis of the agreements and hotel presentation on the sites of these trade clients * The professional will be concentrating his/her efforts on building and nurturing relationships, negotiating contracts and maximising sales. He will also be communicating and assisting relevant departments in the hotel so that revenue maximisation is seamless and he will be preparing competitors' comparisons
REQUIRMENTS *3+ Years' experience in a hotel business development role *Previous experience in the hotel industry. *Alternatively you might be considered for the role if you have long term Travel Sector experience. *Excellent command of the English language *Ability to communicate & establish rapport *Maintain long term relationships and find ways to extend and develop them further *Maintain close contact with clients and display in-depth hotel knowledge *Seek out new opportunities and negotiate new deals.
THE PACKAGE A salary up to £40,000 is on offer for the right candidate alongside a competitive bonus scheme.
