Business Development Manager - Business Travel Sector- £30k West Midlands, East Midlands.

Our client is an independent Business Travel Management Agency who are looking to develop new corporate clients and increase revenue to further grow their company. The Business Development manager will br pro-active in contacting new SME companies selling the services of a one stop solution in handling clients flights, hotel, rail and car hire travel request that will benefit the client in time and cost.

  • The responsibilities required for the Business development Manager - Business Travel Sector are as follows:
  • To pro-actively generate leads with corporate clients whose travel spend ranges from £10k - £500,000
  • To identify prospect clients through building rapport with the appropriate decision maker
  • To promote the products of the company through various social media channels
  • Attending networking events, conferences and trade shows
  • To use CRM system to update and diarise clients for call backs

The skills required for the Business Development Manager - Business Travel Sector are:

  • Performing a similar role as a Business Development Manager in the Business Travel sector would be preferable
  • Professional, articulate and good rapport building skills
  • Able to work on one's own initiative to generate own leads and follow up on prospect clients
  • Confident in conducting presentations
  • Driven to hit sales targets and exceed clients
