Business Development Manager – Business Travel

Central London

£25,000 Basic with an OTE of £45-50K

 

My client was established over 30 years ago and has enjoyed significant growth in its portfolio of corporate clients.

 

They are now seeking to recruit a Business Development Manager to capitalise further on their success in the business travel arena.

 

The Business Development Manager will have previous new business/account management skills as well as being driven, motivated and be well presented.

 

Business Development Manager - Business Travel Responsibilities:

 

  • To  source and secure new business targeting small & medium sized companies (SME’s)

  • Identifying new business opportunities

  • Cold calling key decision makers

  • Coordinating and managing any Requests for Proposal (RFP)

  • Attending networking and corporate business events

  • Providing feedback on competitor activity and market trends

  • Working closely with the DialAFlight sales team to ensure client retention

 

Business Development Manager - Business Travel Experience Required:

 

  • Outbound Sales experience within a targeted sales environment

  • Proven track record in business development

  • Tenacious,  self-motivated and  confident

  • Driven by targets and an unlimited earning potential

  • A professional but likeable personality that people warm to

 

Business Development Manager - Business Travel Remuneration and Benefits

  • Base salary of £25,000 first year OTE to be £40-50K for the right individual. After the first year, they would expect this OTE to increase significantly.

  • Travel benefits

  • 20 days holiday

  • Pension

  • Monday to Friday
