Business Development Manager - Business Travel Sector, Up to £35K plus comm, Surrey

Our client is an established Business Travel Management Agency servicing clients within the Education, NGO and Charity Sector. They are looking to add to their portfolio of clients within the Education, NGO and Charity sector by employing a dynamic sales individual to build up new client relations and pro-actively sell the travel management products through calls, networking, presentations, attending events and trade shows.

The Business Development Manager responsibilities are as follows:

  • Pro-actively contact new clients within the Education, NGO and Charity Sector to win their Travel Business
  • Research and qualify clients
  • Contact clients by making a number of outbound calls
  • Attend face to face meetings and present
  • Record information in to the CRM system and ensure follow up process
  • Attend trrade shows and events
  • Use company brand values to assist with social marketing and attracting companies through other channels
  • Creatively prepare exciting presentations.

The skills required for the Business Development Manager role are as follows:

  • Energectic, pro-active and determined
  • Corporate Travel industry experience preferable
  • Contacts within the Education, NGO and Charity industry a defnite plus
  • Target driven
  • Excellent communicator
