We have a great opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join a fantastic travel company. Working as an integral member of the Business Development Team the successful candidate would support member partners and help them to grow their business and profits by understanding how they operate and helping them make positive business choices.

The responsibilities of the Business Development Manager would include:

  • Engaging with member partners and understand how they operate and what business challenges they face
  • Offer practical advice to members with regards to marketing, business efficiencies and ways of maximising income
  • Be familiar with the products and services to help improve the members business
  • Convert enquiries to membership and ensure a smooth transition into membership
  • Attend events and meetings to engage with agents and develop a network of contacts for drawing in new members
  • Identify agency targets for potential new members and engage proactively
  • Understand the products and services available to members
  • Successfully deliver against business targets in various areas

Experience required for the Business Development Manager role would include:

  • Have extensive experience of gaining new business and client relations
  • Naturally enthusiastic and committed
  • Able to work independently with a level of autonomy
  • Be an excellent problem solver and decision-maker
  • Possess strong commercial acumen
  • Able to comfortably liaise with business members and address their needs
  • Working knowledge of the leisure travel sector (business travel knowledge is a nice to have)
