Business Development/ Sales Executive working in the West Midlands, salary up to 25k with realistic OTE 35k.

Our client is one of the leading independent and most trusted names in corporate travel. They are looking for a dynamic Business Development/ Sales Executive to generate, qualify and book face-to-face appointments with new leads whilst ensuring the business profile is suitable for Travel Management to manage successfully.

The responsibilities of the Business Development/ Sales Executive are as follows:

  • The ideal candidate must be organised, a self-starter, able to work to targets and manage own CRM.
  • Sales pipeline management of own leads must be done on a daily basis.
  • Business Developing new clients across different vertical markets
  • You must be able to meet weekly call and appointment targets set by the sales director.
  • You will be required to represent the company at exhibitions, networking events, seminars and conferences.
  • Analysis of the current market conditions and competitors will be needed to be done on an ad-hoc basis

The skills required for the Business Development/ Sales Executive are as follows:

  • Essential to have previous/current Business development experience within the Business Travel Management Sector
  • Proven B2B Sales experience
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to network confidently at events and exhibitions
  • Able to create and present company usp's and benefits to Senior Executives
  • Strong negotiating Sales Skills
