We are currently recruiting for a Business Travel Assistant Team Leader to work with our client, a true innovator and one of the UK’s leading Travel Management Companies. The Business Travel Assistant Team Leader will support the Team Leader by provide a high level of customer service and support to internal customers, external customers and suppliers.

Key Areas of Responsibility of the Business Travel Assistant Team Leader:

  • Offer exemplary customer service to clients and suppliers at all times
  • Maintain a good level of understanding of the reservation and invoicing systems
  • Provide guidance on using online booking tools to clients
  • Sharing knowledge and information with colleagues
  • Provide feedback and suggest possible actions to appropriate Team Leaders where challenges are encountered
  • Support the Team Leader in ensuring that all customer SLAs and KPIs are understood and met
  • Assist the Team Leader in carrying out quality checks and providing coaching/training where necessary
  • Be recognised as a ‘go to’ person in your team on account of your technical ability, but also in the capacity of a team coach/mentor
  • Support the Team Leader in the day to day operation of the Department, upholding all policies/procedures whilst demonstrating the organisations Values


Key Skills of the Business Travel Assistant Team Leader:

  • GDS experience essential (ideally Sabre)
  • At least 1 years’ supervisory experience combined with Business Travel Experience
  • Knowledge of net and published fares
  • Work to a high level of detail
  • Be a good communicator
  • Able to conduct oneself in a professional manner and provide excellent customer service
