Business Travel Section Manager, London, Up to £35k.

We are currently recruiting for a Business Travel Section Manager to join a Global Travel Management Agency and be responsible for managing a team of Busines Travel Consultants, working on corporate Business Travel Accounts.

The responsibilities of the Business Travel Section Manager are as follows:

  • Achieve customer SLAs
  • Liaise with Programme Management and Business Travel clients to ensure that client satisfaction levels are maintained / improved
  • Attend client meetings / conference calls as required
  • Work with the Implementation team to ensure that new Business Travel client accounts are implemented smoothly and professionally
  • Improve Employee engagement
  • Ensure good internal communication through team meetings and one-to-ones
  • Work with HR & Operations Managers to manage staff performance


The skills required for the Business Travel Section Manager are:

  • Previous people management experience within a Business Travel environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure - calm and professional at all times
  • Good knowledge of GDS, airfares, reissues, PNR history, administration and back office processes
  • Be confident with good decision making skills
  • Have a positive attitude
