Calling all Senior Business Travel Consultants looking to take a step into management. An exciting opportunity has now arrived for Business Travel Team Manager / Operations Manager for a high end independent travel management company in Central London.
THE JOB: The team manager will undertake the management of the travel consultants for their performance, wellbeing and development. You will be a first point of contact for corporate travel account clients. You will ensure that all client travel needs are fully met to their satisfaction in a timely and effective manner and within the budgets set. Act as the leader of travel consultants and manage them on a daily basis. Conducting regular 1-1 review meetings. Monitoring holidays, sickness and other absence to ensure all team tasks are fulfilled on a daily basis as well as other managerial tasks. You will also act as a hands on consultant when required.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Previous corporate travel consultant experience as a booker. A senior consultant with some supervisory or managerial experience. Excellent customer service, IT, GDS and communications skills. Full user experience of GDS Amadeus.
OTHER USEFUL INFORMATION: This role is full time working Monday to Friday from 9am to 5.30pm although due to the nature of the position there may be some need to work on call or travel to events and trade shows etc.
THE PACKAGE: For the successful candidate there will be a competitive annual salary of circa £31,000 plus a company benefits package which will be discussed at interview stage.
