Business Travel Telesales Executive, Manchester, Up to £23K plus £7k bonus

Our client is high end Global Business Travel Management Company. They are looking for a Telesales Executive who is Proactive to work in their Manchester Office. This is a telephone based role dealing with external customers and prospects, working as part of the Business Development Team supporting the Sales and Account Management functions.

Responsibilites of the Business Travel Telesales Executive are;

  • Throrough research on prospects clients to ensure an understanding of the needs and requirements
  • Cold-calling new business prospects.
  • Opening accounts or making appointments over the phone – dependent on the size of the account and the customer needs.
  • Writing introduction emails and letters to introduce and explain the full range of Travel Management services.
  • To maintain the highest levels of customer service standards and take a pro-active approach so as to eliminate customer dissatisfaction.
  • Dealing with incoming calls in a friendly and efficient manner and take ownership of issues where appropriate.
  • Identify new sales opportunities from existing business.
  • Manage and schedule regular contact with portfolio of prospects.


Skills required for the Business Travel Telesales Executive;

  • Outbound cold-calling experience essential.
  • Excellent telephone manner with clear spoken English and excellent grammar.
  • Good written English.
  • Good IT Knowledge and competent in Word, Excel and Internet.
  • CRM experience would be useful but not essential.
  • Understanding of the Travel industry desired but not essential
  • Good appreciation of UK geography and International understanding.
  • Customer Orientated.
  • Attention to Detail.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
