Caretaker at Moira, Derbyshire

Part time, permanent position

To ensure that everything in the offices at Moira is working, clean and safe and that the building is secure out of hours. You will oversee the contract cleaning team open up every morning and lock up each evening. The position is hands on and will need you to be organised.

This is part time position with hours split between morning and evenings, ideally suited to a local person, who will become a key part of the team.

Benefits: As our caretaker you will be part of a growing, professional team based in our rural Support Centre at Moira. Paid on an hourly basis with a minimum number of hours weekly you will benefit from discounted Forest Holidays and you may be able to join our pension scheme.


First and foremost you will have a can do, positive attitude. A cheerful disposition will mean you are a pleasure to have around and nothing will be a chore to you.

Your qualifications are secondary to the skills you have developed in property maintenance, security and housekeeping. Generally "handy", with an over riding desire to be helpful, coupled with an ability to be flexible for the needs of the business: it could all mean that this is the perfect job for you.

Skills and Experience

A good level of general education along with practical experience in a similar role is the ideal combination.
