Striving to be the best social, sports, residential and business Club in London, the amenities include: 72 bedrooms, fine dining restaurant, brasserie, caf, ballroom, 6 function rooms and top of the range sports facilities including a swimming pool, steam room, squash courts, fencing, gym, studio and treatments.

The Lansdowne Club, a prestigious Member's Club in the heart of Mayfair, has a fantastic opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic Conference and Banqueting Floor Manager to join their team.

Duties:


  • To ensure that the front of house operation in the Events Department runs efficiently and cost effectively whilst developing the operation according to Lansdowne Club standard operating procedures
  • To work closely with the Events Manager to set, raise and maintain standards in the events department
  • To ensure that a personal and memorable service is offered that will make our guests want to return to the Lansdowne Club
  • To ensure that function rooms are set up according to the client's instructions and the Lansdowne Club standard operating procedures
  • To ensure that any audio visual equipment is set up correctly and in good working order in advance of each function
  • To conduct detailed team briefings prior to each event to ensure that the team are fully aware of the timings, food, beverages and special requirements of each event
  • To train and develop the team on a daily basis

The ideal candidate:

The role will report to the Events Manager. The ideal candidate should have previous Conference and Banqueting and customer service experience. Excellent management, communication and interpersonal skills are also a necessity for this position.
