We are currently looking to employ Conference & Banqueting Supervisor to work in 5* hotel based in Slough. Specific Duties:? To ensure that the function rooms are set to the specific standards outlined by the Stoke Park Standards of Operations ?To assist in the service of Food and Beverage, ensuring the presence of standards and consistency ?To supervise conferences and banquets, ensuring consistency in setup and the operation of the event ?To liaise with the kitchen and the client to make sure that the quality of the food is of the highest standard and that service runs on time ?To meet and greet the client, welcoming them to Stoke Park, and to attend to every request of the client during their event ?To help the Manager and Assistant Manager supervise up to 50 staff members, including casual staff and agency staff ?To delegate tasks to staff members, coaching them in successfully completing tasks and checking that instructions have been carried out to the required request ?To get physically involved in set-ups, clear downs, service and function requestTo attend any relevant meetings that the Manager may ask you to attend ?To give detailed briefings to staff for events ?To have an understanding of F&B and be prepared to explain in detail to guests if the need arises ?To perform daily cash reconciliation ?To carry out monthly staff meetings ?To ensure that departmental beverage controls and staff wage budgets are being met ?To follow the company Health and Safety policies and procedures, and ensure that the team is adhering to the policies as well ?To adhere to and promote the department health and hygiene philosophy ?To actively carry out training needs analysis to identify training requirements for staff ?To assist the Sales and Events team with operational queries about future bookings ?To work closely with every department in the hotel to ensure great guest service
