Conference Booker / Administrator required for this Corporate Travel Management Company located in central York.
The key role is to add to the success, within this conference booking department of a busy conference, meetings and events agency with a growing travel division using your strong administrative skills.
Other key responsibilities include:
-Take ownership of client conference enquiry bookings, ensuring you understand your clients requirements.
-Find the perfect venue within the UK and Europe for your client's conference requirements, delivering options to your clients.
-Negotiate the best deal for your clients.
-Travel where necessary for inspection trips and familiarisation visits.
-Liaise with suppliers.
-Build strong rapport with clients & suppliers.
-Deliver the highest standard of customer service.
-Process all administration for your client bookings.
-Handle all changes for your client bookings.
This company have a successful track record and ambitious growth plans so are looking for somebody who wants to be part of a busy, successful team.
The successful candidate with be accustomed to working effectively in a busy office environment demonstrating willingness, enthusiasm and passion for good, strong customer service.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail & accuracy skills, have good computer skills (MS Office & Databases), able to work on initiative and good problem solving skills.
This excellent position delivers the genuine opportunity to progress personally & professionally, working in a good, friendly environment. The opening hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 18:00 working shifts within these times (£8.7 hours per week).
In return there is a very competitive salary of £16K - £18K, 24 days holiday plus bank holidays.
