Travel Contract Manager – Adventure Travel Operator – Up to £35k – Banstead

 

Travel Contract Manager is required by one of the UK’s leading destination specialists offering a wide range of inspiring holiday and school trip programmes. With over 30 years’ experience, this Travel Contract Manager position is newly created due to continued growth and development of the business in a specialist product area. As the Travel Contract Manager, your primary role will be to oversee and coordinate the negotiation and completion of contracts for product across key travel destinations such as Iceland, Italy, the Azores, China, Norway, New York and Costa Rica.

 

As Travel Contract Manager, you will:

 

  • Contract negotiations with existing or potential travel product to secure best possible rates, terms and conditions, commission and overrides in order to deliver, meet and exceed the company’s financial targets and budgets
  • Source new suppliers with guidance from Product Manager and Director
  • Occasionally travel overseas as necessary for product inspection visits or contract negotiations
  • Conduct supplier health and safety audits and quality checks
  • Prepare and sign contracts for product
  • Help to develop, maintain and improve supplier relationships
  • Help to ensure sales and operations staff are fully trained and aware of any new contracts introduced
  • Attend and represent the company at relevant trade and public exhibitions/shows/open evenings
