Contracting of new and repeat competitive non-accommodation ancillary services rates and terms in the UK, including entrances, entertainment, additional services such as ‘specialist services and visits’, ferry agreements. Developing new and fostering strong relationships with our supplier partners.
Supporting the UK Operations team by way of contractual administration, to include the management and upkeep of non-hotel descriptive and the image bank.
There will be opportunities to represent the company at various trade and network events that take place throughout the year.
This position reporting to the Operations Manager UK with close lines of communication with the UK Operations team and Group and FIT staff in London and Edinburgh.
This role will enable yourself to have good exposure into the world of negotiation and Contracting.
Negotiate rates and terms for non-accommodation repeat and new ancillary service agreements in line with recognized contracting schedule needs.
Ensure that agreements are correctly set up on Tour Plan and that file folders are kept in good order.
Responsibility for management of descriptive content of non-accommodation UK portfolio, to include ensuring all relevant information is correctly filed and shared with relevant parties.
Responsibility for management of image bank, ensuring all contracted product has suitable images available and that the image bank is managed and updated in a tidy and pro-active fashion.
Under the guidance of the Operations Manager UK, support and assist the UK Operations and FIT teams in an administration function which could include calling suppliers with operational questions, drawing up contracts, submitting contracts for loading, managing supplier set up processes and bookings.
Keep abreast of product sales performance.
Establish good practice of recognizing new possible suppliers to work with.
Attend Trade / network events either on own or with the Operations Manager UK.
Ensure that all relevant staff are aware as and when contracts are secured and available to sell.
To understand overall business strategy in terms of both Groups and FIT relationships with suppliers, ensure that when preparing for meetings, data from both business streams is collected to ensure no negotiating opportunities are missed.
Meeting with ancillary suppliers in office or on-site.
Provide presentation material and be prepared to present on ancillary supply internally.
