Contracts Manager – Travel – £35 - £45k – central London

Contracts Manager is required by a fast-growing travel company that offers comprehensive ground handling for FIT, specialist interest travel groups and conferences in the UK and Ireland. The Contracts Manager will play a key role in assisting the travel company’s Group Buying in the UK and Ireland.  As the Contracts Manager you will have excellent negotiation skills and a “Can Do” attitude.

As Contracts Manager you will:

  • Source new hotel partners for collaboration, contract best negotiated rates and work off targeted KPI’s
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing travel / hotel suppliers, including regular performance analysis and monitoring of sales
  • Contract for city break and touring group
  • Assist the Operations Team with confirmed groups and be in contact with the Group Series (Guaranteed Departures)
  • Assist the Operations Team in dealing with complaints and overbookings
  • Assist the Accounts Team with negotiation and invoice queries
  • Keeping up to date on New Product Knowledge and finding new growth opportunities i.e. hotel developments, openings
  • Attend Travel-trade FAM Trips, Trade Shows, Networking Events

The Contracts Manager is:

  • Experienced in contracting hotels and allocations (2 – 3 years)
  • A superb negotiator with a persuasive demeanour
  • Proactive, passionate and able to deliver the best agreements
  • Commercially insightful and has strong numerical skills
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment whilst managing multiple projects
  • An excellent communicator with the ability to interact at all levels
  • Able to work autonomously as well as within a team
  • Required to have a UK Driving License:  Estimated travel 10-12 weeks per year around England and Scotland
