Want to work for an excitingly diverse travel business as their Corporate Business Development Manager. This travel group has divisions within Corporate Travel, Leisure Travel, Luxury High-end Travel, Golfing trips and even Private Jets! We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for a long-established and successful independent Travel Management Company based on the London & Hertfordshire borders. I am looking for a Business Development Manager to actively promote and sell the travel brand and the corporate services they offer. The role is to develop a pipeline of new account activity.
To succeed in this role you will have experience in finding new leads, winning new client accounts, and meeting sales targets. When you introduce a new account, you'll work closely with our team of vastly experienced travel consultants to deliver the best possible travel management experience to all levels of the client organisation.
*Proactively seek new business leads for our travel management service and increase sales revenue for the company.
*Develop relationships with key decision makers in major organisations to improve opportunities for new sales and account development.
*To act as a role model to other BDM's in winning business.
*High level participation in the preparation and delivery of pitches / proposals.
*Manage new accounts to strengthen commercial relationships and capture incremental sales (hotel/meetings/rail etc.).
*Will be able to communicate effectively both internally and externally at all levels.
*Will have excellent sales and customer care expertise.
*An understanding of revenue/margin management, selling and negotiation is essential.
*Will be able to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
*Possess excellent organisational skills.
*Will have the background experience to implement and manage a CRM system.
*Have the ability to deliver against set targets.
*Previous experience within the corporate travel sector
*Should be fluent in English.
*Possess a clean UK driving licence.
A competitive basic salary of up to £35,000 with uncapped commission plus a benefits package is on offer for the right candidate along with Laptop & Mobile.
