An expert Cruise Sales Consultant is required by a world leading cruise company. This is a tremendous opportunity to join a dynamically growing company that will give you potential to grow and excel in your career.  The company offers private health insurance, a beautiful working environment and fun social events.

As Cruise Sales Consultant, in the Ocean or River Team, you are the first point of contact for our direct and travel agency partners about our Ocean or River itineraries.  Using your sales skills and experience, you will convert Ocean enquiries to bookings, making sure that agreed targets are achieved whilst ensuring that exceptional customer service is given at all times.  You will be required to develop relationships with clients in order to attain loyalty by providing a complete service by servicing both sales and aftersales calls. Furthermore, this Cruise Sales Consultant role will require you to meet individual and team targets in order to get OTE of up to £45000.

As Cruise Sales Consultant, you will be:

  • Using expert knowledge assist customers with suggestions and ideas on itineraries & products within the company’s portfolio
  • Achieving and exceeding sales performance targets against key performance indicators including call conversion & revenue targets
  • Achieving 100% booking accuracy, ensuring the customer is made aware of any relevant information that may impact their cruise experience
  • Demonstrating a sense of urgency to changing call volumes and adapt as required
  • Developing and increasing knowledge of products and geographical areas through training and self-development 
  • Communicating to relevant management/internal contacts changes in customer needs, levels of customer satisfaction and product availability
  • Outbound call direct client’s/Travel agent partners to generate new leads
  • Manage own bookings making outbound calls prior to departure to assist guests with MVJ and welcome home calls.

The successful Cruise Sales Consultant will have excellent communication skills, a great attention to detail, be a proactive problem solver, have the ability to work under pressure and have a sense of urgency to meet call handling targets. Additionally, a strong geographical knowledge, flexibility and the willingness to exceed customer’s expectations are a must. Lastly a passion for selling and a proven track record of hitting given targets is essential for this role. You will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a sales role and similarly experience in the cruise industry. Call centre experience is preferential but not essential.
