Our client, one of the UK's largest long haul tour operators, is currently looking to recruit a number of experienced Cruise Sales Consultants to handle reservations on their specialist 'cruise' team based in their well established & busy call centre in Glasgow
As a Cruise Sales Consultant you will work closely with a group of travel agency partners across the UK, and actively promote & sell our clients cruise product & brand. You will handle direct calls & travel requests from customers in a professional manner & within the set company guidelines, and specialise in selling & dynamically packaging long haul & European cruise products to match your customer's exact requirements. You will offer your customers excellent destination & product knowledge, and ensure an extremely high level of customer services at all times. You will liase with various Ground Suppliers to obtain best rates & availability for your customers, and up-sell & promote a range of air & ancillary products to help maximise the revenue & profitability on each booking made. You will also handle any after sales administration duties as required, and deal with any problems or issues in a professional & efficient manner.
As a Cruise Sales Consultant you will have proven experience working in a similar travel sales or reservations based role for a UK based tour operator or independent travel agency, and have the ability to sell & dynamically package long haul & European cruise holidays. You will have a good overall knowledge of the European & Worldwide cruise markets, be extremely customer focused, and have the ability to meet, and where possible, exceed your customer's expectations. You will be a self-starter, who is extremely well organised, and be able communicate effectively on all levels. You will also be very sales & target driven, and have the ability to maximise the revenue & profitability on each booking you make.
Salary & Benefits
Competitive basic salary on offer for the right Cruise Sales Consultant, along with a great bonus & benefits package, and sociable hours of work Monday – Friday (with the occasional Saturday on a rota basis)
