Customer Relations Executive, Manchester, £18K

Our client who is forward-thinking specialist travel management company with Offices in London, Manchester, Europe, USA and Australia are now looking for a Customer Relations Executive
who excels in customer service and understands the need to provide a seamless service to customers in all areas of the travel management process. The successful candidate will work with the department and investigate and compensate post travel complaints.

Responsibilities of the Customer Relations Executive:

  • Investigating post travel queries
  • Liaising with suppliers regarding complaint issues
  • Responding to complaints by letter or by telephone fairly and by ABTA guidelines
  • Responding to email enquires
  • Handling client escalations face to face/telephone.
  • Problem solving, striving to resolve issues at first point of contact
  • Using the internal systems to log and track complaints and correspondence
  • Maintaining a full understanding of company processes and contractual obligations


Essential Skills and Experience required for the Customer Relations Executive role:

  • Minimum of 3 years customer service experience
  • Minimum 5 grade C GCSE’s including English and Maths
  • Good level of computer literacy
  • Customer focused approach
  • Experience of using travel systems (GDS, booking tools)
  • Problem analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Good level of written and spoken English
  • Strong communication and listening skills
