Customer Service Assistant (Mon-Fri).   Established for over 36 years, our client pride themselves on offering the best services to independent travel agents throughout the UK who need their product expertise to help them create high quality tailor made travel arrangements for their customers travelling to USA, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. Our client is offering an excellent Customer Service Assistant opportunity to an experienced Customer Service candidate.
      
Customer Service Assistant Role:

• To manage the resolution of customer complaints, within given timescales and be the first point of contact for all customer related issues
• Resolve product or service problems by determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution
• To be an effective communicator and ensure all complaints are acknowledged in a timely manner and customers are kept information throughout the complaint process, maximising customer satisfaction and ensuring full communication at all times

Requirements:

• Previous and recent experience in a similar Customer Relations role in Tour Operator, Travel Agency or Airline
• Trained to a high IT standard including Word and Excel 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to multitask including the ability to manage a busy mailbox 
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good organisational skills and able to prioritise workload 

Hours of Work:

• This is an office based role working 40 hours per week
• Monday – Friday 9am - 5.30pm
