A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join an award winning Luxury Tour Operator based in York. My client is looking for someone to join their Customer Personalisation Team as a Customer Service Consultant , who will be responsible for assisting clients with any alterations and upgrades to existing bookings which includes, flights, hotels , other land/sea based services and transfers . There is an excellent competitive salary , along with other company benefits and the role will be working 37.5hrs per week Monday- Friday 9-5.30 Saturdays maybe required occasionally .
Customer Service Consultant duties:
. Responsible for dealing with complex booking alterations including upgrades, add ons for both land and air based holidays
. Working closely with other internal and external departments to create complex packages for clients using a variety of internal and external suppliers
. Building relationships with third part suppliers and making sure a high level of service is offered
. Making sure work is accurate and error free and correctly inputted through the various systems
. Keeping up to date with the product portfolio
Customer Service Consultant skills required:
. Proven experience of working in a busy varied travel role which has been focused on service and delivery either within a Tour Operator, Travel Agency or Airline
. Excellent attention to detail and is confident working within a busy department and can manage a busy workload
. Excellent communications skills with the ability to liaise with both internal and external clients and suppliers
