Travel – Customer Service Executive – £19k – Monday to Friday – 5 weeks holiday - Central London



Travel Customer Service Executive is required by one of the largest, and best known, Online Travel Agents in the UK. As Customer Service Executive you will be working for a company that is undergoing phenonemal expansion, and that offers you genuine opportunity to develop your travel career.


As Customer Service Executive you will:


  • Answer calls providing travel queiry support for customers
  • Respond to email enquires
  • Handle client escalations face to face and by telephone.
  • Problem solving, striving to resolve customer service travel issues at first point of contact, providing updates, and escalating issues where appropriate
  • Facilitating the Customer Services process including internal liaison with various departments, agreeing actions and ensuring they are completed by the agreed dates
  • Using the internal systems to log and track escalations and outcome
  • Maintaining a full understanding of company processes, policies, product terms and conditions and contractual obligations
  • Answer the phones, filing and any other duties on an ad-hoc basis
  • Liasing with Customer support staff to ensure any issues that arise are delay with in the appropriate way.


The successful Travel Customer Service Executive will have previous travel industry experience in a similar customer service or travel consultant role and have a strong customer service orientation.  You will have excellent communication skills and have an ability to deal pre-travel enquiries.  As Customer Service Executive you will be able to analyse travel problems and solve them effectively, with strong attention to detail.
