Main purpose of the role:

The post holder will assist the Customer Services Manager in ensuring the high levels of customer service are maintained. They will handle calls from customers once their booking is made and will deal with any additions and amendments. They will communicate with the sales staff to rectify any problems that may have arisen.


  • Effectively fulfilling the booking once the sale has been made
  • Answering client enquiries
  • Handling all queries from Tour Operators
  • Dealing with clients in resort / on board the ship
  • Additions and amendments to bookings
  • Logging notes of all communication between client and operator onto systems
  • Liaising with sales to rectify any queries
  • Ad hoc administrative duties
  • Dealing with irate clients

Personal Qualities:

  • To be a team player
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Previous customer service experience in a call centre is an advantage
  • PC literate - knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Ability to communicate effectively internally and externally at all levels
  • Ability to adapt to all types of people and awareness of their personal abilities
  • To have an enthusiastic nature
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with distractions from many angles
  • Ability to multi-task with excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to see the root cause of any problem
  • Must be able to pacify clients when they are upset or distressed
