Award winning tourism and travel company seeks a Customer Service & Reservations Agent to help clients through the booking service and to answer any questions they may have. The company offer great training and genuine career opportunities – you should love talking to people on the phone, have good admin skills and some experience working in reservations.
A varied and busy role which include :
- Offering customer service and reservations assistance to tourists and visitors to London who need help booking theatres, attractions, restaurants and visitor experiences
- Developing product knowledge which will involve going to theatres, attractions and restaurants as well as attending training days and keeping up to date on all products the company sells
- Give department heads any feedback which may improve sales or customer experiences
- Helping clients make amendments to bookings, cancelling with suppliers, reconfirming prices or transport and travel details
- Able to handle any complaints the departments receive
- Researching and maximise sales conversions
- Working daily with a range of suppliers on the phone and email
As Customer Service & Reservations Agent you should have :
- Fluency in English – a 2nd language useful
- Proven administration and reservations experience
- An interest in tourism
- Enjoy being offered tickets to the theatre and to attend fam trips to develop product knowledge
- Attention to detail
- Proven ability to work as part of a team
- Want to learn and progress and develop a career
- Have a sense of humour and take pride in your work
- Lived in London for at least a year and visited some attractions
