Customer Service Supervisor – Travel Industry - £27 - £30k plus bonus & benefits – SW London

 

Customer Service Supervisor is required for one of the worlds largest cruise travel companies, leading to an ever growing choice of travel product and increased customer satisfaction; something that is at the heart of what our client does.  As Customer Service Supervisor you will inspire your team to the highest levels of travel customer service for which our client is rightly renown.

 

As Customer Service Supervisor you will:

 

  • Deputise for the Guest Services Manager when appropriate.
  • Supervise both the pre-departure and post-departure Guest Service teams to ensure the required level of service and communication is achieved by telephone, letter and email at all times.
  • Identify knowledge gaps and training requirements within the team, and bring these to the attention of the relevant management.
  • Assist with organising, coordinating and reporting on team daily work.
  • Deal with escalated customer enquiries or complaints from other departments and members of the Guest Services team.
  • Work with the Guest Services Manager to ensure the teams’ and companies’ objectives and goals are met.
  • Maintain the highest level of personal written communications for pre and post travel correspondence.
  • Provide information which is 100% accurate and which addresses 100% of the customer’s questions during each contact.

 

The successful Customer Service Supervisor will have 3 years’ experience of working in a customer services environment within the travel Industry with experience of managing a small team.   The Customer Service Supervisor will ideally have experience of dealing with and resolving complaints and involvement in the decision making processing for awarding compensation, helping to manage and exceed customer expectations.
