A leading tour operator are looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join one of the fastest growing companies in the Travel Industry.  As the Customer Service Assistant you will play a varied and key role in a busy department, ensuring that the department runs like clockwork.

 As Customer Service Assistant you will:

  • Answer incoming calls and redirect to appropriate department
  • Management of brochure fulfilment and daily brochure dispatch orders
  • Maintaining the bookings database
  • Checking bookings are loaded correctly with information provided by suppliers, correcting errors and minimising costly mistakes
  • Acknowledging when final payments have been received, and reporting any outstanding payments
  • You will assist in managing any crisis or emergency situation in a professional, proactive and timely manner, communicating effectively with all parties
  • Prioritising workloads and meeting daily targets
  • All round administration and office support as of when needed

As Customer Service Assistant you will have some customer service and administration experience, and be used to working in a fast moving environment.  You will have excellent people and customer service skills with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team.  You will have an exceptional telephone manner and communication skills, be able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure, successfully prioritising workloads efficiently as well an outgoing bubbly personality.
