A dynamic and fast-moving tour operator is looking for a Customer Services Executive to join its dynamic and growing team.  Working for a company, where hard work and fun go hand in hand, as Customer Services Executive you will be responsible for responding to all pre & post travel enquiries and correspondence from customers.

As Customer Services Executive you will:

  • Maintain the highest levels of service when communicating via telephone, letter or email, and delivering an exceptional customer experience at all times.
  • Deal with customers, colleagues and external organisations at all levels in an efficient, professional and confident manner to assist with achieving organisational goals, handle complaints according to company procedure, with the aim of resolving these to the satisfaction of all parties whenever possible.
  • Assist with all pre-departure enquiries which will include general questions about the customers booking, as well as changes, amendment, extras and cancellations.
  • Take ownership of post-travel enquiries and complaints, liaising with other departments, fully investigating issues and escalating these when necessary.
  • Taking responsibility for agreed aspects of the payment process, including notifying customers and/or travel agents when their balance is due
  • Acknowledging when final payments have been received, and reporting any outstanding payments
  • You will assist in managing any crisis or emergency situation in a professional, proactive and timely manner, communicating effectively with all parties

The successful Customer Services Executive will have previous experience of providing excellent customer service in a fast moving high volume travel environment.  You will have excellent people and excellent verbal and written communication skills where you will be able to remain calm under pressure, be confident and assertive and display empathy with the customer whilst building rapport at all times.
