Customer Service Team Leader – SW London – circa £28k plus excellent bonus & benefits

  • Customer Service Team Leader is required by an award-winning and globally known tour operator that specialises in river and ocean cruises.
  • You will be working with a positive team within the Customer Service department, dealing with all situations in a professional and calm manner
  • Excellent salary package with excellent progression opportunities

The key responsibilities for the Customer Service Team Leader:

  • Supporting deputy Customer Services Manager when appropriate
  • Organising, coordinating and reporting on team daily work
  • Managing the response to all pre and post cruise enquiries and correspondence from customers
  • Managing daily, weekly and monthly reports on team progress in responding to customer complaints
  • Dealing with customer enquiries and complaints
  • Act as an out of office emergency contact on a rota basis

The key skills for the Customer Service Team Leader:

  • At least three years’ experience of working in a customer services environment, preferably within the travel Industry
  • Experience of managing a small team
  • Experience of dealing with and resolving complaints and involvement in the decision-making processes
  • Customer services and administration skills
  • Excellent communications skills, written and interpersonal
  • Good organisational, planning and prioritising skills
  • Good decision making and problem-solving skills
  • IT Literate 
  • Be able to deal with customers and external contacts in a professional and confident manner
  • Be able to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines, to remain calm and patient under pressure   
  • Have a positive and enthusiastic approach and flexible attitude
